Peacekeepers

"Doubt is death. Service is life."

The Peacekeepers are a military police group that serve as secret police during times of peace, and assassins during times of war.

Overview[]

The Peacekeepers are an exclusively female military police group. During times of peace, they are tasked with law enforcement. However, instead of conducting arrests Peacekeepers perform their duties by acting as a type of death squad and silently eliminating threats to the peace. However, when wars start they use their skills to silently eliminate high value targets ranging from political heads to military leaders. They are skilled in not just assassination but scouting, infiltration, espionage, and sabotage.

Their order is shrouded in secrecy, their training and tactics largely unknown. The women that form the order are loyal to death, joining either out of desperation for a better life, humility at their own value, or devotion to their kingdom.

It is believed the Peacekeepers drew inspiration from an ancient woodland warrior named Fyrial. A protector of the Woods around the time of Ramiel and the founding of Wyverndale, she fought with two daggers, much like the sword and dagger combination of the modern Order.

Technology[]

The technology used by the Peacekeepers remains largely unknown. However, they train in deception as well as weapons and tactics not used by other knights. Unlike other knights, Peacekeepers can carry crossbows for ranged attacks. While the use of grenades is not uncommon, Peacekeepers will sometimes drop one right as they die to ensure their target dies with them.

All members wear helmets with faceplates or masks and hoods over their heads to conceal their identity. They also wield short swords paired with daggers, weapons that can easily be concealed.
