Welcome to the battlefield of this Royal Rumble. Two teams of warriors will fight for dominance.

Overview[]

Elimination is a fast-paced multiplayer mode that pits two teams of four players against each other. Elimination works like a double-sized Brawl, where players are pitted against a designated opponent in one corner of the map. They can choose to honourably fight this foe, or march off to attack another enemy. Aside from being able to revive a teammate only once each, there are no respawns, so whichever team remains standing wins the round.

Boosts are scattered about the map and can make a difference in battle. Simply stand in one for a few moments to receive the Boost. Boosts include healing, speed boost, damage boost, and defense boost.

How To Win[]

Elimination consists of five rounds, with no respawns. Eliminate the other team to win the match. If the timer runs out and neither team is eliminated, then the team with the most Heroes is declared the winner. Whichever team wins 3 matches first is declared the victor.

Carousel of Death[]

Carousel of Death is a variant of elimination hosted during events. It pits two teams of four in a small arena, with varying numbers of rounds (best-of-5, best-of-7, etc). Due to the close quarters nature, the match is fast paced and very chaotic.

Carousel of Death features Respawn, but it differs from other gamemodes where any time a hero dies, they will have five seconds added to their respawn timer starting at five on their first death. This means if you die once, you will respawn in five seconds, with your next death having a respawn time of ten seconds. This increase of the Respawn timer upon death continues until the end of the round, where the timer extension is reset for the next round. Victory is achieved when all heroes are dead at the same time.
