"We will start a new era for the truest heroes of this world! Peace is poison! We are war!" - Astrea
Astrea is the leader of the Order of Horkos, claimed to be Apollyon's reincarnation and the one prophesied to bring war back to the world. She is the representative Hero for the Warmongers in For Honor, as they are her direct followers.
Overview[]
One individual had assembled all the ex-Blackstone Legion knights and disgruntled soldiers in Heathmoor to form the Order of Horkos. To these warriors, she was the reincarnation of the late Apollyon. Storming the celebration of the Metal Trials, Astrea has started a new war in Heathmoor, bringing tyranny upon the land. Sheep will be slain by the wolves!
But who is Astrea? Where did she come from? No one knows. What is true though, is that she believes herself to be the one to fulfill Apollyon's legacy once more.
Appearance[]
Astrea wears armor that gives her the silhouette of Apollyon, but giving it a much more refined twist. As it is indicated all Warmongers wear armor that is forged from either their own old armor or the armor of their greatest enemies, the origin of Astrea's armor is likely no different. Her armor consists of a full metal cuirass that mimics the look of a Lawbringer's cuirass, together with metal pauldrons that look like those of the Centurion embedded with what can be assumed to be Draconite gems on the rims. She wears a chainmail shirt with long sleeves under the cuirass, with a chainmail skirt and leather tassets protecting her thighs. Wearing metal greaves over long pants, she also wears clawed metal gauntlets that extend into vambraces that look similar to that of the Black Priors. She dons a long cape with a wolf pelt around her neck.
Her helmet is where the similarity to Apollyon is clearest, as she wears a clean metal version of Apollyon's helmet. In addition, her helmet is laced with gold trims and embroideries, while the mouth part is covered by a metal visor.
In-game, she wears the Astrea armor set and wields the Oiorpata sword set visual.
Biography[]
Astrea is a mysterious Knight warrior who saw a vision during one of her battles. Through this vision by Horkos, she took it upon herself to band a group of elite warriors together, who she'd name "the Warmongers," and rally the Blackstone Legion to retake Heathmoor. She made allies with the remnants of the Blackstone Legion, warriors in the East and those disgruntled by the peace in Heathmoor. All of these warriors would band together under her lead as the Order of Horkos.
Takeover of Heathmoor[]
Astrea would lead the Order of Horkos into taking over Heathmoor, breaking the Truce of Wyverndale and stirring the three factions into turmoil. Successfully taking control, she sent her Harbingers and Warmongers to secure certain fortifications across the land.
However, when the Rebellions started to fight back, at first, Astrea didn't pay personal attention, instead instructing her followers to continue mining for Draconite. However, once her last Messenger of Doom ally had been defeated, Astrea knew she had to step up and fight. Thus, she would clash with Holden Cross now known as Gryphon during the Battle of the Eclipse which had been a massive battle with the Chimera Alliance against the Order of Horkos.
Horkos Masquerade[]
After the Battle of the Eclipse she and the Order of Horkos would then hold the Horkos Masquerade in Valkenheim, a way for the Order to keep the strongest in their rightful place and to gain new recruits. Astrea can be seen observing the festivities alongside three wolves from a lowered platform.
