(No spoilers please)
I never knew viking culture could be so intriguing and relatable. As I progress through the game, I learn more and more about their lore and culture. It's truly something remarkable. The epics and lore is more "vicious" and grand compared to the noble and modest themes that knight culture/lore follows.
I can better compare and contrast the two cultures as well. I see a common theme that vikings are more attuned with nature and a family structure. This is in comparison to a knight's attunement to "humanism" and patriarchal society. I guess you could say vikings are more involved with the world around them and an informal society, while knights focus on themselves/what they value and support a more rigid society.
Samurai? I don't know. I'd have to explore a world deeply influenced by Japanese culture (maybe Sekiro?). I'll be sure to do the same when I reach a adequate source.
Maybe I'm being to general about vikings/knights. What are your thoughts? And please remember, no spoilers for Hellblade! I know it's been out for awhile, but it's a personal request for this thread. QwQ
